Bristol B2B same-day courier

    How same-day courier pricing works

Send It Direct is a Bristol-based B2B same-day courier. We quote every job individually. The quote depends on distance, the vehicle you need (van, Luton or flatbed), how urgently you need collection, waiting time on site, whether the job is out of hours, and whether you are on regular account rates. There is no public rate card on this site — send us the details and we will give you a firm price.

    What affects your quote

These are the factors our team uses when pricing a same-day courier job for a business.

    Distance

Collection and delivery postcodes set the core of the quote. Local Bristol and South West jobs are priced differently from long cross-country runs. Tell us both ends of the journey (and any multi-drop stops) so we can price the real route.

    Vehicle (van, Luton or flatbed)

The vehicle has to fit the load. A standard van suits most parcels and small pallets. A Luton gives more volume for bulky freight. A flatbed is for plant, long or oversized items that need an open bed. If you are unsure, describe the dimensions, weight and how it needs to be loaded — we will recommend the right vehicle from our fleet.

    Urgency

Same-day collection and tight delivery windows need a dedicated vehicle and a clear path through the day. The more flexible the collection and delivery times, the more options we have to fit the job efficiently. If you need a timed window, say so when you request the quote.

    Waiting time

If the driver must wait to load, unload, or for a goods-in slot, that time is part of the job. Tell us in advance if you expect a wait (for example a timed dock booking or a site induction) so the quote reflects it.

    Out-of-hours

Jobs outside normal daytime running — evenings, nights, weekends or bank holidays — need a driver and vehicle rostered accordingly. Flag out-of-hours requirements when you enquire so we price the right cover.

    Regular account rates

Businesses that send with us on a recurring basis can move onto account terms. Regular and contract work is priced as a relationship, not as a stack of one-off ad-hoc jobs. If you have daily, weekly or monthly routes, ask us about a business account.

How to get a firm quote

We do not publish a public rate card. To get a firm price, send the collection and delivery postcodes, what is moving (size, weight, and whether it needs a van, Luton or flatbed), when you need collection, and any waiting or out-of-hours requirements.

We aim to respond within 15 minutes during normal working hours.

    Pricing FAQs

How much does a same-day courier in Bristol cost?+

It depends on distance, the vehicle required (van, Luton or flatbed), urgency, waiting time, whether the job is out of hours, and whether you are on regular account rates. Send It Direct quotes each B2B same-day job individually. Send the collection and delivery postcodes plus what is moving via our quote page or call 0117 454 4144, and we will give you a firm price.

Why don't you publish prices on the website?+

Courier pricing is job-specific. Publishing a generic figure would mislead more often than it would help. We explain the factors on this page and give every business a firm quote for their actual collection, delivery and vehicle needs.

What information do you need for a quote?+

Collection and delivery postcodes (including any extra stops), a description of the goods, size and weight if known, which vehicle you think you need or photos/dimensions so we can advise, the collection time you need, and any waiting-time or out-of-hours requirements.

Do regular business customers get different rates?+

Yes. Regular and contract work can move onto account terms so recurring routes are priced as an ongoing relationship rather than a series of one-off jobs. Contact us to talk about a business account.

Does vehicle choice change the quote?+

Yes. A standard van, a Luton and a flatbed are priced as different resources because capacity, payload and the type of freight they carry are different. See our fleet page for vehicle types, or describe the load and we will match it.

Are waiting time and out-of-hours included automatically?+

Only if you tell us about them when you enquire. Expected waiting time and out-of-hours collection or delivery should be flagged up front so the quote covers the job you actually need.

    How do I get a quote?+

Use the quote page, email sales@senditdirect.co.uk, or call 0117 454 4144. Include postcodes, load details and timing. We aim to respond within 15 minutes during normal working hours.
